Our support for Great Ormond Street Hospital
Crewe Lyceum Theatre is raising money to help fund brand-new operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
For the past three years HQ Theatres & Hospitality, alongside sister company Qdos Entertainment, has been supporting the Theatres for Theatres appeal, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.
So far the generosity of audiences and staff has raised over £570,000 for the charity, but we have more to raise to help build and equip a suite of new operating theatres at the Hospital which will open in 2017. You can donate using collection tins at the Lyceum Theatre or online.
Your support makes a huge difference. Thank you.
The Theatres for Theatres Appeal
Theatres for Theatres is an exciting three-year initiative to raise £4 million to make a dramatic difference to the lives of our young patients requiring specialist brain surgery.
The initiative will help to fund two new state-of-the-art operating theatres to be used by our Neurosciences team. The theatres will be used to treat children with complex and often life-threatening neurological and craniofacial conditions.
Theatres for Theatres will create world-class facilities which could allow us to treat up to 20 per cent more children in the next ten years.
The appeal was founded by Heather Beckwith and her daughter, Nicola Bearman, whose son, Oscar, is a patient at the hospital.
