Crewe Turns 110!

Crewe Lyceum Theatre turns 110!

After more than 500 days of closure, Crewe Lyceum Theatre has re-opened its doors just in time to celebrate a very special birthday.

Saturday 4 September 2021 marks the venue’s 110th birthday and the start of a year of exciting projects and events to celebrate the rich cultural heritage that the theatre has brought to the heart of Crewe. Over the next 12 months the stage will be set to honour the theatre’s incredible history, as not only a beautiful setting in which to host great acts and live entertainment, but as a treasured community asset with a legacy which will live long into the future.

Highlights throughout the year include monthly promotions, nostalgic trips down memory lane and exciting activities designed to encourage customers, past and present, to share their fondest memories of visiting the Grade II listed Edwardian theatre.

The 12-month celebrations will feature perfectly alongside the packed programme of entertainment already planned this year, including our well-loved Christmas pantomime Sleeping Beauty, starring Bobby Davro, Amelia Lily and Malcolm Lord; newly announced smash-hit Drag Murder Mystery Death Drop - direct from the West End; and Olivier Award-Winning comedy-drama The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.
